Bengal College of Engineering and Technology for Women established in the year 2009, aims at providing quality higher technical education for the promising future technocrats of India. The college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. The college is offering B.Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Information Technology.


The SKSgi has taken up the mantle to provide quality education to youth in India. It has setup the Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Durgapur Institute of Management and Science, SKS Public School and Durgapur Public School.

Both JEM and AIEEE merit listed candidates shall have to adhere to the cut-off marks in qualifying examination (10+2) i.e., at least 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregates with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for Engineering, being compulsory subjects with pass marks in each of those individual subjects (as per AICTE Norms) and pass marks (30%) in English.
